onethingiscertain asked: For those near Louisville, KY, The Tempest will be showing at Village 8 Theatres starting tomorrow (Friday January 28) until at least Thursday (February 3). Tickets are only $3 for shows before 6, and $5 for shows after 6. Check village8.com for more information. It's a "Louisville Exclusive" so it'll probably only be there a week unless a lot of people go to see it....

love hate
I noticed that the video of ‘Love Hate’ does not exist anymore here. Could you maybe tell why is that?  [from siringuven] [EIC:  Thanks for letting me know.  Apparently, the video was deleted on Vimeo on January 21.  I have no idea why.  I’ll be on the lookout to see it if pops back up somewhere. :( ]

"The Hour" Tidbit Roundup
I’ve got a few random tidbits relating to Ben’s currently-filming TV series, The Hour, none of which are worthy of their own post, so here they are all lumped together. First, word from The Evening Standard is that the show will begin airing on BBC2 in June.  So set your DVRs, Brits!  (And then help the rest of us folk out with some sneak peaks, perhaps?) Next, come DVD time, we can...

Yamato: Keats’ style of poetry emphasized nature and the poet giving himself over as a vessel to channel the universe. Is there a similar sense for you about the craft of acting?
Whishaw: Yes, definitely. I think that’s one of the things I said to Jane when I auditioned. At the audition, we worked a little bit on the scene where I say that line, that a poet doesn’t have an identity because he’s always filling another body; whatever he’s looking at, he becomes that thing. I said, I think that’s a bit what it’s like to be an actor — sometimes you can lose a sense of yourself because you’re always trying to understand this other person. So I think you’re absolutely right, both are trying to become a vessel, a channel or something.
