Ben Makes the ES 1000 List Again!
The Evening Standard has come out with their list of the 1000 most influntial Londoners of 2011, and Ben Whishaw is among the illustrious names in the Theatre section. Even though he hasn’t been on a stage in….going on 2 years, Ben still makes an impact:
His standout performance this year has been on TV as Freddie Lyon in The Hour, while in recent times his burgeoning film career has seen him play Sebastian in Brideshead Revisited, Ariel in The Tempest and the poet John Keats. Yet arguably it’s his stage reputation, notably as Hamlet, which shines brightest.
