Richard II to Air on PBS for U.S. Viewers!

PBS announced their “winter/spring” Great Performances season, and Ben’s BBC film of Richard II is amongst the programs!  No word on exact dates yet, but it looks like U.S. folks will get a look at his next project early next year.  You can find more information here, and we even get our first “official” look in this pic:

Interestingly, Rory Kinnear recently said in this interview that he expected the program to air in Summer 2012 in the UK—is it possible U.S. audiences will see it first?

Also, I feel like Ben needs to go around the world and introduce himself to everyone as “Ben Whishaw, WITH TWO ‘H’s!” and shake them until they get it.  Come on PBS, even you get it wrong??
