Richard II Goodies!

The BBC has been busy trumpeting all their 2012 programming lately, with some nice little goodies from Ben’s Richard II being revealed.  The photo above comes from this particular article, and there are more details here and here.  Ben had this to say about the production: “Playing Richard II has been a hugely rewarding experience. Working on this beautiful play with Rupert Goold and an amazing cast has been one of the most magical and memorable experiences of my career.” 

They’ve put together a nice reel of the programming they’ve got slated, and sadly it’s not embeddable.  Go here for a nice little glimpse of Ben and Patrick Stewart in action.

And a Happy Thanksgiving to all U.S. folks.  I personally cannot wait to stuff myself.  With stuffing.  Mmmmm.

ETA: I had to edit because I just have to say, I find the colors of this photo absolutely arresting.  Now that’s a publicity shot.
