Ben Whishaw is Officially Q in Skyfall

The Sun was the first to report this yesterday, so I didn’t really take that much notice, since rumors had already been around.  BUT today, every news outlet and their mother picked up the story, with a claim that “his agent has confirmed” the news:  Ben will take on the role of Q—head of Q branch and gadget maestro to Bond—in Skyfall. 

What this will mean for Whishaw fans: iconic role; while he’s probably serious, the scenes will possibly be quite comical (I’m hoping for a Pingu flashback, personally); probably no shooting for Ben outside, so probably no set-photos; the character would very possibly pop up in a number of future Bond productions, so lots of Ben to come??
